Two grad students, one by the name of TKO and the other Patrick, develop super powers while being used as test subjects for a medical and science center. After hacking into the system, TKO is able to find out the officials of the center want her and other human experiments to participate in a program called the Human Weapon Exchange Program, HWEP. Not wanting to be a weapon, her and Patrick aim to reach Taiwan where the US doesn't have an extraditing treaty with, so as they can try and figure out a way to expose the center and maybe even save lives.
