Unlike the boulevards and monuments, the roofs of Paris, far from the postcard images, are part of an unknown world, inaccessible for most locals and tourists from the city of light. But a few privileged people have made this secret garden their daily universe. This is the case of Thomas, a tightrope walker who tries to capture with his camera the soul of the capital. Michaël Blassel is one of the few who can access the Invalides dome. Benjamin Mouton, chief architect of Notre-Dame, opens the doors of these forbidden places to the public and tells the history of the capital, through its roofs, evoking their colors and the materials that compose them. Meet also with those who wish to make roofs a high place of Parisian night.
