Based on the autobiographical novel of Turkish feminist Ayse Nil, Kaciklik Diplomasi is a cleverly shot and well-acted drama about a woman's struggle against her manic depression. In terms of depiction of insanity, it is nowhere near One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest or similar memorable films.
