This is the story of nine year old Carol McAlister, her father David and a very special doll named Julie. David is the owner of a small firm that provides security services for companies. When he lands an assignment guarding a jeweled collar to be worn by a rare Snow Leopard at an exhibit at the Louvre, David sees the opportunity for the international acclaim that can bolster the image of his struggling company. The Snow Leopard, Samantha, is Carol's favorite animal at the Bronx Zoo and David decides to surprise his daughter by taking her along with him on the job to Paris. As an added surprise, he gives Carol a special computerized doll, Julie, to take with her on the trip. All the while, the forces of the sinister master French criminal, E. Ville, are behind the scenes, plotting to steal the Snow Leopard and the priceless collar.
