Lassie and two of her puppies are adopted, and Lassie returns to visit the farm where she left one of her puppies. Once upon her way again, she falls down a hidden well. People who have been helped by Lassie rally to rescue her and Lassie becomes the central point of love shared by a diverse group of people.
