Der Teufel hat gut lachen aka "Drei schräge Vögel" is a black-and-white comedy from Kurt Früh, one of Switzerland's most famous directors. He was pretty much in the middle of his career, in his mid-40s, when this was made. The film was written by Max Haufler, usually an actor and this is his last project as a screenplay creator. The film starts with a introductory part, where the devil is happy about money and its importance - till he meets the three homeless friends "Clown", "Barbarossa" and "Dürst". They are happy without having anything and the devil tries to prove the opposite by giving them money.
