-On October 21, 1939, a North-East Airways instructor took off from the Saint-Hubert airport (in Canada) with Joseph Bluteau, the pilot, and two passengers, George-Henry Hamilton, a wealthy businessman, and Richard Gagnon, one of his forestry engineers, on board. Destination: Labrador. But the plane mysteriously disappears. That same October 21, a few kilometres from the Labrador Sea, the plane crashes in the forest and the three men, lost and imprisoned, are nevertheless safe and sound. Then begins a long wait, the wait for help. In isolation and fear of starvation, the three shipwrecked men organize their survival.
