Depicts what can happen when adults disregard the wishes and desires of children. Jan Punt loves horses and likes to draw horses on the square in front of the school and during the drawing lessons. One day a new art teacher comes: the father of Louis, a classmate of Jan. That man is terribly stubborn and bossy. Everyone must sign what he gives up. Jan only continues to draw horses. This brings him into conflict with the teacher. Jan is constantly punished and is driven further and further into the corner by the teacher. After all, Jan can't take it anymore and the consequences are extremely tragic.
