Constanta, 16th of December 1989. Marinicã (Cristi Iacob) is a sailor. He goes to Timisoara because his girlfriend Imola (Ioana Moldovan) is pregnant in the 7th month and they must get married before the children's birth. Imola shares her apartment with Nina (Daniela Nane) & Hilde (Mihaela Radulescu), her factory collegues... Timisoara, December 1989. The anticomunist revolution begins. Shots are fired. 56 civilians are killed by bullets and the knifes of the Securists & Militians. From the morgue inside the hospital, 43 dead bodies are gathered and taken to Bucuresti in order to be cremated. The purpose was to get a smaller official number of deaths. Those identified were to be reported as missing... Bucuresti, 21st of December 2004. Irenne (Maia Morgenstern) comes to Romania, sent by the newspaper Le Parisien Libre, where she works. She must write about Romania, 15 years after the Revolution. She hasn't been to here native country in 15 years. She will write about the destiny of a country....about the destiny of a child. A child born 15 years ago in the same time with the liberty in Timisoara...A children that was lost...abandoned... The three stories mix together...
