A journey through the world of the singer-songwriter who revolutionised Brazilian song and influenced an entire generation of musicians, making way for movements such as Bossa Nova and Tropicália. The film is based on an unreleased interview (in which Dorival Caymmi seduces us with improvised performances) and wanders through the universe of Bahia’s fishermen, African-rooted references and love stories.
