"Teaw, though your soul may have parted, your body will be forever mine." This is the golden message which makes Tan’s novel Kalapalwasan a best-seller among the young generation all over the country, which changes Tan’s life unexpectedly; from that of a poor unknown writer to the better life he has now. It’s a summersault. The novel is about a man, obsessively in love with a woman, who decides to steal her corpse and keep it in his house for the rest of his life. The novel is made into a movie, though the process of interpretation and adaptation results in a kind of horror-romance, and Tan is dissatisfied. At the same time Teaw, a lover from his past, returns and claims co-ownership of the novel, as it was inspired by their relationship. The poem in an art gallery, the art works in a museum, the sweet and sorrowful lyrics of a country song in provincial surroundings, all become deeply touching, rekindling the old flame of their past relationship to burn strong again. However, nobody realizes the secrets in which Koh, an uneducated gas station boy, is involved.
