Lutz Brückmann, a man who lost his daughter to a useless (“tick meningitis“) vaccination five years earlier, is obsessed with revenge against the big Pharma company, Geiger, and its CEO, who counts “dead test studies“ as “incomplete test studies“ in order to avoid bad press. Geiger has managed to buy plenty of politicians, including a powerful prosecutor, practically guaranteeing they can continue to hock their wares and cover-up their evil deeds. Somehow, the shadowy Serbian, Zoran Subocek, is involved, raising Konig's interest in the case. Bukow & Konig are determined to out Geiger, despite admonishments from their kowtowed bosses, while saving the life of its prime target, Brückmann.
