The plot consisted in a typical middle class family (to they seemed rich or may be most colombians are so poor that a family like this looks rich but they are really middle class) of Colombia and their day to day activities involving sometimes one or all members of the family as they grew older. Charlie (the father) lost his first wife in the firts few years of the series. Whom with he had 3 children, they were devastated because the mother was a very essential member of the family because she knew how to handle, console and advice the family. Shortly after his first wife's death Charlie met another lady and got married to her. The new mother in law brought along 2 other children to compose the family of a total of 5 children. From here on the show lost it's magic but people still watched it because the time at which it was aired was tight after midday news and there was nothing else to watch on the other Colombian channels.
