John Capo was born in Brooklyn, New York. He produced the 2013 Off-Broadway productions of Bayside! The Musical!, based on TV's #1 teen drama Saved by the Bell (1989), and Showgirls! The Musical!, the parody of the cult classic film Showgirls (1995).
