Itandehui jansen，Itandehui Jansen was born in Oaxaca, Mexico. She is both a filmmaker and scholar. She studied an MFA in Directing Film at the Netherlands Film Academy in Amsterdam and conducted her PhD at the Academy of Creative and Performing Arts at Leiden University.
