Abel Baer，Composer, songwriter ("There Are Such Things", "My Mother's Eyes"), pianist and author, educated at the College of Physicians and Surgeons, giving up dentistry to join a NY music publisher in 1920. He accompanied Nora Bayes, and came to Hollywood in 1929 to write songs for sound films.
