Charles E. King，Composer ("Song of the Islands" ["Na Lei O Hawaii"]), author, legislator and educator, educated in public schools and at the Oswego State Normal School. He was a leader in musical education in Hawaii and an authority on Hawaiian songs, and taught in the Kamahemeha Schools and in public schools.
