凯尔·罗思坦，Kyle attended San Francisco based Chinese American International School from Kindergarten until 8th grade. He relocated to Shanghai (January 2004) with his father and sister. Kyle graduated from high school in Shanghai's public school system. He is fluent in Mandarin and has won several awards in Chinese language contests.
