Abaddon was born Anthony "Tony" Bray in Tyne & Wear in 1960. He was the original drummer with thrash/black metal stalwarts Venom from 1979 to 1999. He released a solo album entitled "I Am Legion" which was an industrial rock album. He was notable for wearing sunglasses on and off stage and for his loud, hard hitting drum playing.
