Emery Welsh was born Erin Brittany Cooper in Huntington, New York on June 20, 1987, to Laura (Welsh) and Gary Cooper. Emery's is of English, Irish, and German ancestry. Emery started her career participating in school musicals and plays. She went on to perform in productions of Guys and Dolls and Don't Rock the Boat.
