Rex Liddy is a member of the Lama Lama tribe and lives at Port Stewart, which is the heart of his homeland. He has had many different jobs in the including hard hat pearl diving and operator of heavy machinery. The Liddy family are strongly represented in Port Stewart and in Coen, a small inland town about 90 kilometres from the coast.
