Sonya T. Evans，Born in Chicago, Sonya started at an early age in dance; teaching for the KC Friends of Alvin Ailey. Two years from her doctorate, she received a Masters from UNLV and a BFA from PVA&M University in Texas. After graduating, she hit the Vegas stage before returning home to star in such plays as "LoveChild" and "Forever My Darling.
