Chris Berkenkamp was born in Newport Beach, California on January 23, 1981 to Charles and Elizabeth Berkenkamp. He was raised in Phoenix, Arizona where he attended Brophy College Preparatory, a Jesuit all boys high school located in North Central Phoenix, where he excelled in English Literature.
