Irina Kara，British actress Irina Kara was born in Moscow, Russia. She studied at the Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography in Moscow under the mentorship of legendary Soviet film director Sergei Bondarchuk ("War and Peace" Oscar winner, 1968). After graduating in 1989 she settled in the UK. She works extensively in theatre, film and TV.
