Gary Mairs has been teaching in the School of Film/Video since 1997. He has served as co-Head of the Film Directing Program since 2005 and as Associate Dean since 2010. He has worked as an editor and assistant editor and served as creative consultant for Wendy Apple’s The Cutting Edge: The Magic of Movie Editing (2004). Since 2007, he has directed a series of interconnected short films. Three have been completed thus far: Say It (2008), The Hemingway Night (2009) and All That She Surveys (2011). All That She Surveys premiered at the 2012 International Film Festival Rotterdam.
