Aleksandr Chakovskiy was born on August 26, 1913 in St. Petersburg, Russian Empire as Aleksandr Borisovich Chakovsky. He was a writer, known for Blokada: Luzhskiy rubezh, Pulkovskiy meredian (1975), Blokada: Leningradskiy metronom, Operatsiya Iskra (1978) and Pobeda (1985). He died on February 17, 1994 in Moscow, Russia.
