Andrea Gabriella Kapsaski was born on December 31, 1956 in Heidelberg, Germany. She is a poet, playwright, translator, theatre director, film producer and actress. She published her first book of poetry "Avti i grigori fthora tis sarkas" in 2000 (Editions Omvros, Athens). Kapsaski has a long background in theatre.
