Jenny Owen Youngs，Singer/songwriter Jenny Owen Youngs was born on November 22, 1981 in Montclair, New Jersey. Youngs grew up in the woods of Northern New Jersey. Jenny played the flute in elementary school and the tuba in junior high school. She began playing the guitar at age fourteen.
