James Anthony Kelsey，James Kelsey was born at Ft. Carson army base in Colorado Springs. After a brief time in Louisiana his family moved back to Colorado and eventually to Greeley, Colorado, where he grew up with two brothers, (Henry and Eric) and his parents (Ron and Sheila).
