Martin Menzel was born to Marianne Menzel, M.D. and Arnold Menzel, industrial lubricants engineer, on May 24th 1979 in Magdeburg, East Germany. After high school he was trained to be a media designer at German Television ZDF. Additionally, hes studied filmmaking at New York Film Academy in New York City (NYFA).
