Donald Goldsmith，Astronomer Donald W. Goldsmith earned his Ph. D. in Astronomy from the University of California at Berkeley in March, 1969. His books include: The Search for Life in the Universe (1992); Einstein's Greatest Blunder?: The Cosmological Constant and Other Fudge Factors in the Physics of the Universe (1995); and Connecting with the Cosmos (2002).
