Andre Pilette，A second-generation race driver, Pilette started his career in Europe and enjoyed modest success on the Formula 1 circuit. He raced throughout the 50s and into the 60s before an accident curtailed his career. Pilette's son Teddy also raced and subsequently the elder Pilette opened up a racing school at the Zolder race track in Belgium.
